Tour Highlights

  • Callander
  • Glencoe
  • Caledonian Canal
  • Pitlochry

We start out from Charlotte Square at 7:45am. As we head north, we pass by The Kelpies and Stirling Castle before stopping off for a coffee or some shopping at the Trossachs Woollen Mill.

Next, we head through the remains of the ancient super volcano that is Glencoe. This is where we will be met with breath-taking scenery and will aim to offer you the best opportunities to capture your own photos. Even the most novice photographer will be able to take home beautiful memories that they will want to frame!

As we twist our way along mountain roads your guide will tell you about the significant events that have shaped the land and the people that have lived here for centuries, from the Picts of the Iron Age to the Highlanders who fought clan battles on these very hillsides.

Arriving in Fort Augustus in time for lunch by the impressive Caledonian Canal and its series of locks, another Scottish engineering feat, we’ll be able to look out over the most famous stretch of water in Scotland – Loch Ness.

Then it is out onto the Loch on one of Cruise Loch Ness’ very modern boats. With a dedicated sonar system for you to watch, you can search for the legendary monster yourself with the help of a live guide. If you’d rather just take in the view, you can relax up on deck as we cruise along. Upon our return to land we journey south passing through the Cairngorms National Park, stopping off at the beautiful town of Pitlochry, reputed as Queen Victoria’s favourite highland town. It will hopefully become one of your favourites too.
